The 16 ft box truck is the size most Chicago movers pick for a two-bedroom apartment or a small three-bedroom condo. It has a pull-out walk ramp, E-track rub rails along both walls and a translucent roof panel so you are not loading in the dark.
Expect an Isuzu NPR or Hino 155 with a gasoline engine, automatic transmission, backup camera and 3 bench seats. No commercial license is required, and anyone 21 or older can drive it.

The 16 ft truck is 11 ft 2 in tall. Most viaducts are marked, but avoid Lower Wacker and several on the South Side under 11 ft 6 in. The branch will mark clearances on your route.
