Minimum age
Age limits are set by our insurer and apply to every driver on the rental, not just the main renter.

License rules
U.S. licenses
Any valid, unexpired license from a U.S. state, held for at least 12 months. Temporary paper licenses must be shown with the expired card.
International licenses
Bring your home-country license and passport. Licenses not printed in English also need an International Driving Permit.
Trucks, no CDL
Every truck we rent is under 26,001 lb GVWR. A standard class D license covers all of them, including the 26 ft.
Driving record
We check records for 26 ft trucks and passenger vans. Two or more major violations in 3 years will decline those classes.
Deposits and payment
The deposit is a hold, not a charge. It is released 3 to 5 business days after return, depending on your bank.

State-minimum liability is included. Everything else is optional, and we will never pressure you at the counter.

Personal auto policies and premium credit cards often cover cars. Most exclude trucks and cargo vans.
What to bring to the counter
- Valid driver's license held for 12 months or more
- Credit card in the main renter's name
- Or a debit card plus two proofs of address (non-airport branches)
- Passport, if your license is from outside the U.S.
- International Driving Permit if your license is not in English
- Proof of insurance if you decline our damage waiver (trucks and vans)
- Business account number or purchase order, if renting on account
- Flight number for airport pickups, so we can track delays

Not necessarily. State-minimum liability is included. Your personal auto policy or credit card may cover damage to cars, but most do not cover trucks or cargo vans, so we recommend our damage waiver for those.

The main renter must be present with their license and card. Additional drivers can be added at the counter or on the manage booking page.
Yes, at non-airport branches, with two proofs of address such as a utility bill and a bank statement. Airport branches require a credit card in the renter's name.
